EPC passed the rigorous 98 mph wind blown rain test, showing no moisture penetration after 24 hours of continuous exposure. It is very important that a coating be breathable so that moisture vapor does not get trapped behind walls (that may cause rot) or the coating (that may cause peeling or blistering). EPC performed exceptionally well in the important moisture vapor transmission test, with a perm rating result of 50.4. The highest known perm rating in the industry.
